Chairman

John is wind2share´s Chairman. He is also CFO of  StormHarbour. Previously John was CEO, President and CIO of Carlyle Capital Corporation and Managing Director of The Carlyle Group from 2006 to 2008. Prior to Carlyle, he was a Managing Director and a member of the Financial Institutions team at Cerberus working on various private equity transactions including GMAC; while at Cerberus, he was also a Director of Aozora Bank. From 1999 to 2003, John was a Senior Vice President and Global Treasurer of Merrill Lynch & Company. He was Chair of the Asset Liability Committee, Member of Executive Management Committee, Member of Reserve Committee, and Director of ML International Bank, ML Bank USA and ML Capital Markets Bank. From 1991 to 1999, John was Managing Director and Head of the NA Derivatives Business and Emerging markets in South America at Deutsche Bank. From 1986 to 1991, he managed various corporate banking specialty groups concluding with being appointed Head of US Marketing for Derivatives. He was also an account officer at Crocker Bank from 1978 to 1981.

As part of his exceptional trajectory, John has been an Associate Professor of Finance in the MBA program at San Francisco State University and holds an MBA from New York University and BA from Franklin & Marshall College.

Terry is an external Director of wind2share. He is currently an Independent consultant with Storm Harbour in New York working on a variety of capital raises in different sectors.  He has executed transactions for Fortune 100 corporations, institutional investors, and financial institutions. Types of transactions include IPO and secondary equity, convertible securities, derivatives, as well as high yield, high grade, currency and commodity derivatives.

Terry was a managing director at BNP Paribas' Strategic Equity Solutions group. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, he was Managing Director at Wachovia Securities in its equity derivatives, convertible origination, and fixed income divisions. He began working at Bankers Trust in 1985, spending 8 years in its derivatives sales and trading businesses area before he became a Producing Manager at Merrill Lynch and UBS, working in the areas of debt capital markets, derivatives, and structured products.

Terry received his BS in Economics in 1985 from the Wharton School of Finance with dual majors in international finance and international political science. He received his MBA from Columbia University in 1991.

 

 

Alex Riquezes

Alejandro is an experienced manager with over 26 years in Sales, Investments and Marketing  areas. He joined wind2share’s predecessor Windmills in August 2008.  His Sales and Marketing background comes from his career at S.C. Johnson, Despunta & Quorum and his Investments experience from Gruntal, Prudential Securities (Wachovia Securities) and UBS.

Alex earned his BS in Management from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela. He studied for his graduate  MBA   program at the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela. Alejandro held a Certified Investment Management  Analyst, CIMA® designation from the Investment Management Consultant Association (IMCA®) and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he  held the licenses Series 3, 7 and 63 and he hold  the 65 license.

Ada graduated in Liberal Studies with a wide range of multidisciplinary courses and a post graduate degree in International Politics, Ada’s creative nature has helped her develop great communications and design skills, oriented towards the Social Media and Community Development fields. She is currently taking specialization courses ar Stanford University to gain an integral approach to startups from the marketing, business and legal areas. 

 


 

Juan Riquezes

 Juan is an experienced manager with over 28 years of experience in technology in the Financial industry, and as entrepreneur Juan co-founded one of the first companies to support banks operations through SMS messages. Juan joined Windmills in August 2008. His technology experience comes from his career at two mayor banks, IBM and Unplugged Corp., where he continues serving  as  a board member.

He has been a Director of The Center for Information Systems Research  at ADL and  Caja Venezolana de Valores. He was also a member of the Exchange Committee of Asociacion Bancaria de Venezuela and a member of the Technology Committee of Cavenal.

 Juan has a Bachelors Degree as a Systems Engineer from  Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas.


 

Kevin DeNuccio

Kevin DeNuccio was most recently CEO of Metaswitch Networks until retiring in June of 2012, to focus on Angel investing and consulting. He was CEO for over 2 years and remains a Member of the Board of Directors for over 3 years.  Metaswitch, based in London, England, is a world leader in IP software and telecommunications equipment.  The privately held company has approximately $150M in revenues and 700 people and has a second headquarters in San Francisco.

Kevin DeNuccio, was formerly the President and CEO of Redback Networks (RBAK-Nasdaq) for 6 years.  At Redback he led one of the major turnarounds, financial restructuring, and renewed growth from the telecom meltdown of 2000.  Redback Networks was sold to LM Ericsson in January 2007 for $2.1B approximately 10x revenues.  In addition to Metaswitch, he is also a member of the BOD of SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq) a leader in flash memory, Calix Inc (Nasdaq) telecom equipment, Byogy Renewables, a privately held company making advanced bio- fuels, and Northeastern University. 

Prior to leading Redback Networks, he was the Senior Vice President of worldwide service provider operations at Cisco Systems. In this role, he was responsible for all field activities in the service provider marketplace, representing more than $4 billion in revenue and over 4,000 employees globally. During his tenure at Cisco, Kevin also managed worldwide field operations, including all sales and engineering support organizations.
Prior to his 6 years at Cisco Systems, Kevin was the Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bell Atlantic Network Integration, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Bell Atlantic (now Verizon Communications), with responsibility for all corporate strategy and operations. He has also held senior management positions at both Unisys Corporation and Wang Laboratories as Vice President in their network integration and worldwide channel partner businesses.

Kevin has served on several public and private BOD’s over his career including Redback Networks sold to LM Ericsson, JDSU inc., KPMG consulting (BearingPoint), Netpliance (TippingPoint) sold to 3Com, Salesnet sold to RightNow Technologies.

Kevin DeNuccio received his finance degree from Northeastern University and is a graduate of the MBA program at Columbia University.  He is happily married with 5 children living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
